May 1: Campground opens for the season
May 4 – May 28: May Madness Weekends: Camp all 4 weekends in May, including Memorial Day, and leave your rig on site in between visits for one low price! Full Hook-up sites = $160.00, Water & Electric sites = $140.00, Electric sites = $120.00, and Rustic sites= $100.00. (Fees for extra tent or people still apply; full fee must be paid in advance)
May 4 – 6: Spring Spruce-up Weekend & Cinco de Mayo: Bring your work gloves & rakes, and help us with our spring clean-up chores in exchange for FREE camping on Friday & Saturday nights. Saturday evening join us for a Taco Bar ($1.00/taco), followed by a piñata, Candy Bar Bingo and a cartoon or movie.
May 11 – 13: Magnificent Moms Weekend: Treat mom to a weekend at camp, including some pampering activities for moms & daughters, a special craft for mom to make, and a Sunday morning pancake breakfast, so mom doesn't have to cook! (Free for moms) Cabins rent for 25% off the pre-season price.
May 18 – 20: Scouting Special: Bring the troops for a spring campout! Working on badges? We may be able to provide some opportunities to meet some of those requirements. Special pricing…Call for details: 231-238-8259.
May 21: Victoria Day: Canadian Campers make a long weekend of it, and stay Sunday night (May 20) for 25% off pre-season prices!
May 25: POOL OPENS FOR THE SEASON
May 25 – 28: Memorial Day Weekend: No minimum stay on campsites, 2 night minimum in cabins. Traditional favorites to kick off the summer season…glow parades, the Indian River Box Car 500, and of course, Candy Bar Bingo! We'll serve up a pancake breakfast ($) on Memorial Day morning. (Free for our veterans)
June 1 - 3: Real Life Superheroes: Hats off to our police, sheriff, state troopers, DNR officers, firemen, and paramedics. Camp for 50 % off this weekend; just present your credentials at check-in.
June 8 – 10: Best of Camping: A weekend of nature/outdoor/camping activities, including day & night hikes, pond exploration, survival fire making contest, group campfire activities, camp crafts and a glow wagon ride!

June 15 – 17: Father's Day Weekend: Dads will be celebrated this weekend with special activities and a pancake breakfast on Sunday morning. (Free for dads)
June 15 – June 23: "Summer Starter Camping Week": Camp for the whole week on a rustic site for just $150.00, an electric site for just $175.00, an electric & water site for just $200, or a full hook-up site for just $225.00.
June 22 -24: Campground Olympics: Get your team together, make a flag and march in the parade of the Opening Ceremonies; then compete in traditional and wacky activities to earn medals.
June 29 - July 1: Canada Day: Let's celebrate with our neighbors to the north! Wear the red & white proudly and play some noodle hockey. Crafts, and a glow parade round out the fun.
July 4: Independence Day: We'll have all the scoop on local parades and fireworks and plan our own patriotic activities for the park…an ice cream social, and red, white and blue glow parade are sure to be part of the fun.
July 6 – 8: Christmas in July: Let your Christmas spirit shine for our site decorating contest… you may win 2 free nights of camping! Bring a small gift for Santa to pass out to your kids, make ornaments and more.
July 13 -15: Mad Scientist Weekend! We'll be doing experiments all weekend…Dr. Bill (yes, he has a PhD in Biochemistry!) hasn't told me just what he intends to cook up, but you won't want to miss the fun!
July 20 – 22: Reptiles Rule! Seth and Maryann Rock from the Tropic Cove Pet Shop in Petoskey will be back at camp with their collection of reptiles and amphibians! Come meet their amazing creatures up close and personal. Crafts, games and cartoons round out the weekend.
July 27 – 29: Haunted Halloween: Bring your costumes for Trick-or-Treat around Chipmunk Circle, and prepare to dare the spirits in the haunted woods under the full moon…
August 3 – 5: The DOG days of Summer: It's about Fido and FiFi this weekend! Show off what your pet has in our ninja-dog obstacle course or talent show.
August 6: Canadian Civic Holiday: Canadian campers can stay on Sunday night (Aug 5) for 50% off and have late checkout on Monday (if available) for just $5.00.
August 10 -12: Stargazers/Astrology weekend: Will we be able to find all the constellations of the zodiac in the night sky? How did that constellation come to represent your sign in the Zodiac? What does your sign say about your personality?
We'll have some fun searching for the answers to these questions, and more.
August 17 – 19: Mystery/CSI weekend: Something is amiss in the campground! Follow the clues and examine the evidence…Who dun it?
August 24 – 26: Pirates & Mermaids: Ahoy, Mate! The mermaids may just have the clues for the buried treasure. Or will they lead you astray? Costumes encouraged! The treasure hunt is the main event on Saturday evening, with a chance to win a free weekend of camping! We'll have pool games, crafts and more throughout the weekend.
August 31 – Sept. 4: Labor Day Weekend: No special theme, just lots of fun camping activities.
Sept. 5: POOL CLOSES FOR THE SEASON
Sept 7 – 9: Grandparents Weekend: Bring the grandkids and share a fun weekend of camping. We'll have 2 for 1 mini golf for grandparents golfing with their grandkids, a marshmallow roast with stories and 60's & 70's songs around the campfire!
Sept 14 - Oct 14: FAULOUS FALL WEEKENDS: Camp for these last 5 weekends and leave your trailer on site between stays for just one low rate: Full hook-up sites = $200.00, Electric & water sites = $175.00, Electric only sites = $150.00,
Rustic sites =$125.00. (Fees for extra tent or people still apply; full fee must be paid in advance)
Sept 14 – 16: No Theme this weekend, but we'll still plan plenty of camp activities.
Sept 21 – 23: Tree-mendous Trees! Take a look at some of our native trees, and begin to learn how to identify them by their bark or leaves or nuts. Crafts from trees, and other camp activities.
Sept 28 – 30: No theme this weekend.
Oct 5 – 7: No theme this weekend.
Oct 12 – 14: Haunted Halloween II: More good spooky fun. Enter the site decorating contest for a chance to win a free weekend of camping, trick-or-trunk-or-treat, crafts, games, and more. Wait for dark to walk the haunted woodland trail…
Oct 15: Campground closes for the season.
